Bottom-placed Parramatta gave their caretaker coach Brad Arthur a dream NRL debut with a 42-22 trouncing of Brisbane last night at Suncorp stadium, backing up their win in the previous round over the Melbourne Storm.
The rejuvenated Eels, until recently coached by the Kiwis' boss Steve Kearney, had established a winning lead by halftime, taking advantage of some woeful Broncos defence to score five tries for a 30-6 lead.
The loss dropped Brisbane to fifth place on the table.
