Rennie says Chiefs have fixed their set piece

7:14 am on 27 July 2012

The Chiefs Super Rugby Coach Dave Rennie has dismissed suggestions that his side's set piece has fallen apart and says the inclusion of lock Craig Clarke and number eight Kane Thompson should fix their recent problems.

The Chiefs were taken apart at lineout and scrum time in their last two losses to the Hurricanes and Crusaders and face the latter again in tomorrow night's semi-final.

The Crusaders have arguably the best set piece in the competition and will no doubt target the Chiefs in that area given the success they had the last time they were in Hamilton.

However Rennie is confident the home side have exorcised their set piece demons.

Rennie has named almost the same side that lost to the Crusaders three weeks ago with number eight Thompson the only change to the starting XV.
