F1 test driver out of hospital

The formula one test driver Maria De Villota, who was seriously injured in a crash at the start early this month is "in good overall shape" and she has been from hospital in Madrid.

The 32 year old Spaniard suffered life-threatening head and facial injuries in the accident at Duxford airfield in eastern England on July 3 and lost her right eye after undergoing emergency surgery.

She's undergone undergone plastic surgery and been treated by brain and eye specialists in the past week since her return from England.
