Men's pair prepared to row whatever the conditions

8:54 am on 26 July 2012

The favourites to win the men's pair rowing event at the London Olympics say they're ready to perform at their best, no matter what the UK weather throws at them.

New Zealanders Hamish Bond and Eric Murray are the three-time World Champions in the pairs and are unbeaten since 2009.

The weather in London is expected to be very changeable over the next week, but Bond says he and Murray are comfortable rowing in any conditions.

Bond says they trained in all conditions in Europe and whatever London throws up won't be a problem.

Hamish Bond and Eric Murray first compete in the heats on Saturday night.
