Rennie not fazed by players' lack of experience

6:19 am on 25 July 2012

The Chiefs coach Dave Rennie is scoffing at suggestions that his side lack the Super Rugby playoff experience to be a threat in the finals.

The Chiefs semi-final opposition, the Crusaders, are the most successful team in Super Rugby history and are stacked with players with international and Super Rugby finals experience.

They also have the world's best first five and loose forward in Dan Carter and Richie McCaw.

But Rennie says the Crusaders seven titles will count for little in Hamilton on Friday night.

Meanwhile the Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has confirmed All Black number eight Kieran Read will play no part in the semi-final due to injured ribs.
