Beale court case adjourned till after Bledisloe Cup opener

The Wallabies coach Robbie Deans is hoping Kurtley Beale's common assault case can be settled out of court.

The star fullback appeared in court in Brisbane yesterday in relation to an incident last month at a Brisbane nightspot, and it was agreed to proceed with mediation, which means the matter has been adjourned until August 22.

So Beale will be free to face the All Blacks in the Bledisloe Cup opener four days earlier in Sydney.
