The New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic says she's relieved to have finally been selected for her second Olympics.

After a drawn-out process, the world number 45 was on Wednesday confirmed in the New Zealand team for London.

Erakovic is preparing for Wimbledon, which will also host the Olympic tournament next month.

She admits she did feel under pressure to perform in Birmingham and Eastbourne the last two weeks to try and secure a Games berth and that possibly played a part in her early exits from those events.

Erakovic says she can now finalise her schedule which will probably include two hardcourt tournaments in the United States following Wimbledon, before returning to London.
