The Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba has ended weeks of speculation about his future by confirming his signing with the big-spending Chinese Super League strugglers Shanghai Shenhua.
The 34-year-old had been tipped to make the move to the Far East since he announced last month he was leaving Chelsea, and reports suggest he'll be on a weekly wage of about 200,000 pounds - making him the highest-paid player in China.
Drogba will be joining his former Chelsea team-mate, Frenchman Nicolas Anelka, in Shanghai.
