Read not right yet, Irish will smell blood

The All Blacks No.8 Kieran Read remains a day to day proposition after suffering another headknock in Saturday night's close win over the Irish in Christchurch.

Assistant coach Ian Foster says he doesn't think it's a concussion and he hopes Read will be okay for this weekend's final test in Hamilton.

Foster says the Irish were pretty good in Christchurch, they lifted their levels and it's set up an exciting finale.

He says Ireland played with a lot of passion and it was a typically Irish response, which showed they were hurting after the opening loss at Eden Park.

Foster says the tourists will smell a bit of blood and the All Blacks have to get their levels right.
