The New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has been beaten in the third round of singles at the Birmingham grass court tournament in England.
The ninth seeded Erakovic won the first set 6-2 against eighth seed Ekaterina Makarova, before the Russian rallied to take the next two 6-1 6-3.
Erakovic will continue her Wimbledon preparations in Eastbourne next week.
