The reigning champion New Zealanders have been beaten 9-6 by Wales in pool play at the Junior Rugby World Championship in South Africa.
The defeat was the first-ever for the Baby Blacks at the annual tournament since its inception in 2008.
The four-time champions now need a big win over Fiji and other results to go their way if they're to make the semi-finals.
