Lee's US Open hopes remain alive

New Zealand's number one golfer Danny Lee has made his fifth cut on the PGA Tour in 2012.

Lee is bidding to qualify for next week's US Open by winning the St. Jude Classic in Tennessee and he's got the chance after carding an even par 70 to play the weekend.

The 21-year-old Korean-born Lee dropped four places into a share of 22nd and is six shots back from leader, Rory McIlroy of North Ireland, who has found some form ahead of his US Open defence.
