Deans in no hurry to play Cooper

The Wallabies coach Robbie Deans has emphatically ruled out making an SOS call to first five Quade Cooper for this weekend's first test against Wales, despite Tuesday night's disastrous loss to Scotland.

Cooper has played two Super Rugby matches since his return from a knee injury, but Deans says there's no way he'll be reversing the decision made last Sunday to send him back to Queensland to continue his return to full fitness.

Meanwhile the former Wallabies captain Phil Kearns says the Australian Rugby Union should take responsibility for the embarrassing loss to Scotland.

Kearns says the scheduling of the midweek match, ahead of this weekend's first test against Wales, left Robbie Deans little option other than to field a weakened side against Scotland.
