Rare disorder sidelines Storm centre

The Melbourne league centre Will Chambers could have died from a rare blood clotting disorder which was discovered after the Storm's win last Sunday over the Warriors in Auckland.

The only symptoms of Chambers' illness were some red dot rashes, and the rare auto immune disorder was revealed in blood tests.

The 24-year-old was rushed to hospital for treatment over 48 hours.

Doctors haven't been able to give Chambers a time-frame for his recovery as his condition can be chronic.
