The All Whites coach Ricki Herbert is happy to have got through pool play unbeaten at the Oceania Nations Cup after drawing 1-all with the hosts the Solomon Islands.
Herbert says they exposed a whole new team to arguably the toughest team in the tournament.... it was great for them to get that level of exposure and at times it was really tough for them.
The result confirmed them as Group winners and they'll play New Caledonia in the semi-finals tomorrow.
The other semi-final is between the Solomons and Tahiti with the winner of the tournament qualifying for the Confederations Cup.
