Ferdinand overlooked again for Euros

England's football manager Roy Hodgson has come in for more criticism after again overlooking Rio Ferdinand for the European Championships following an injury to Gary Cahill.

Liverpool's Martin Kelly has replaced Cahill, who fractured his jaw in two places after a collision with his own goalie Joe Hart during a friendly match against Belgium at the weekend.

Ferdinand's agent believes Hodgson is guilty of a lack of respect by continuing to ignore the Manchester United defender, who has had injury problems since his last appearance for England 12 months ago.

Euro 2012 starts this weekend in Poland and Ukraine.
