The West Indies cricketers are virtually down and out in their second test against England after their latest top-order batting collapse, leaving the hosts poised for victory in their three-test series.

At stumps on the third day at Trent Bridge in Nottingham, the West Indies are a sorry 61 for six in their second innings, leading overall by just three runs.

Earlier England made 428 in their first innings which featured 141 from their captain Andrew Strauss, his second century of the series.

England lead the series 1-0.
