Aussie coach cries foul over Olympic draw

5:16 am on 25 May 2012

The Australian men's hockey coach Ric Charlesworth is crying foul following the release of the Olympic Games tournament schedule which has given his team three early starts in their five round robin matches.

Australia are favourites to win the mens gold medal but he says three games starting at 8.30 in the morning, meaning a 5am wakeup call, is unfair and disruptive.

The second seeds and defending champions Germany, and the third and fourth ranked teams, play all their pool matches later in the day.
