Savea brothers get double dose of good news

The Hurricanes wing Julian Savea is one of the many new faces in All Black coach Steve Hansen's 35-strong first training squad alongside team-mate Beauden Barrett, the Chiefs Tawera Kerr-Barlow and Brodie Rettalick, the Highlanders Aaron Smith and the Crusaders Luke Whitelock.

The hulking Hurricanes wing says it's been a great day for the family with his younger brother Ardie being a part of the sevens team that won their 10th IRB title this morning.

Savea says he's worked hard this year as he looks to build his game.

The first All Blacks training camp starts in Auckland on Sunday.
