Reds fired up for Super Grand Final rematch

The Queensland Reds coach Ewen McKenzie is using last year's Super rugby grand final to motivate his side for their rematch against the vengeance-seeking Crusaders on Sunday in Christchurch.

McKenzie wants his side to strike a blow for the much-maligned Australian conference which is facing the highly likely prospect of supplying just one side to the six-team play-offs as the Brumbies are the only franchise in touch with the New Zealand and South African pace-setters.

McKenzie feels Queensland turned the corner last Friday with their drought-breaking win against the Blues at Eden Park, but he says the Crusaders game will be a major litmus test.

The Wallabies hooker Saia Faingaa is set to return from an ankle injury on the bench, and his twin Anthony might be promoted to start in the centres opposite the red-hot Robbie Fruean.
