The Highlanders forward James Haskell has been banned for 3 weeks for punching in their Super Rugby match against the Cheetahs at the weekend.

Haskell pleaded guilty to striking Cheetahs flanker Justin Downey twice as he left a scrum.

Haskell has been suspended from all forms of the game for three weeks which means he'll miss matches against the sharks, Hurricanes and Bulls.
