Chelsea do the unthinkable and edge Barcelona

Chelsea are through to the Champions League football final after drawing 2-2 with Barcelona in their semi-final second leg in Spain, taking the tie 3-2 on aggregate.

The Londoners did it with 10 men too after captain John Terry was sent off just after Sergio Busquets scored the opener 10 minutes before half-time at the Nou Camp.

Andres Iniesta scored the second just before the break and Barca looked to be on track to defend their title, but a beautiful chip on a breakaway run by Ramires on the stroke of half-time had Chelsea back in front on away goals.

A grim second half of defending was rewarded with the visitors' second goal from Fernando Torres on another breakaway totally against the run of play in the 91st minute.

Lionel Messi missed a penalty, hitting the crossbar from the spot in the second half and also hit the post with another shot.

In the final Chelsea will face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, who play in Madrid. The Germans lead the tie 2-1.
