Power outage delays start of third day in Port of Spain

9:18 am on 18 April 2012

A power outage at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad delayed the start of play on day three of the second cricket test between the West Indies and Australia.

Soon after the teams walked onto the ground they were heading back to the dressing rooms on the orders of the match referee, New Zealander Jeff Crowe, because there was no live television coverage, and the decision review system was unavailable.

Play eventually started about 20 minutes later.

In the post lunch session on day three the West Indies are 172 for 4 in reply to Australia's first innings total of 311.
