The South African golf stars Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen worked out their US Masters frustrations and shrugged off a gruelling travel schedule to make sizzling starts to the Malaysian Open.
Last year's Masters champion Schwartzel shot an 8-under par 64 and this years runner up at Augusta, Oosthuizen a 66, split at the top of the leaderboard by India's Jeev Milka Singh on 65.
New Zealand's Michael Campbell is in a big group tied for 53rd on 72, even par.
