Blues coach Pat Lam says ill discipline and errors cost his Super Rugby side as they went down to the Stormers 27-17 in Cape Town this morning.
The Stormers came out strong in the first half and at the break led the severly depleted Blues 17-3.
The Blues worked their way back into the game and reduced the deficit, scoring two tries, but fullback Joe Pietersen kicked a penalty seven minutes from time to deny the Blues a bonus point.
Lam says now they have the tour out of the way the Blues need to turn recover quickly in time for the next match against the in-form Hurricanes.
