The New Zealand golfer Steven Alker has finished strongly at the Nationwide tour's Chile Classic in Santiago, posting a bogey-free 6-under par 66 to end his tournament in a tie for 3rd place.
His final placing could well change as the last players in the field have half a dozen holes to play, but it's still likely to be his best finish since his New Zealand PGA championship win three years ago.
The other New Zealander in the field Tim Wilkinson also finished well with a 68, and he's currently tied for 11th place.
