I won't captain Test team: Ponting

Ricky Ponting isn't expecting a return to the Test captaincy of the Australian Cricket team if Michael Clarke's injury problems rule him out of any of the West Indies series.

Ponting replaced Clarke as captain of the one-day side for two matches of the recently completed tri-series with regular vice-captain Shane Watson unavailable.

Clarke's hamstring injury has ruled him out of the Caribbean one-day series, which takes place before the Tests get underway in Barbados on April 7.

Ponting, who stepped down as skipper of the Test and one-day sides in March last year, says he hung-up his captaincy duties for a reason and believes selectors will go with Watson for the Test matches in the Caribbean.
