The former All Blacks Coach Sir Graham Henry is to mentor Argentina's high performance coaches, as the national side prepares to enter this year's new Investec Rugby Championship alongside, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.

The New Zealand and Argentinian rugby unions have confirmed hat Sir Graham is to undertake a part-time consultancy role guiding the country's age-grade and national coaches.

If follows his appointment earlier this year as a mentor to New Zealand's High Performance coaches at Investec Super Rugby and ITM Cup level.

NZRU High Performance Manager Don Tricker says Sir Graham takes up his new role with the NZRU's blessing and says it's in everyone's interest for Argentinian rugby to develop as they prepare to enter this year's new southern hemisphere investec Rugby Championship.

Sir Graham says he is looking forward to the opportunity and says his role will be offering the country's High Performance team and its coaches an insight into what's required to create a national programme that will lead to a more competitive international team.
