Two Southland brothers will be heading to the national finals of the Young Farmer Contest after winning their regional events.
Pete Gardyne, a 24-year-old farm manager, won the Otago-Southland Young Farmer title at the weekend.
His younger brother, Richard, teamed with Robert Gregory from Gore, won the regional TeenAg competition. They also competed in last year's grand final.
This year's national titles will be decided in Dunedin in May.
