Good demand for a limited supply of wool and a weaker dollar edged up prices again at this week's wool sale.
Fewer than 10,000 bales were up for auction, and Wool Services International reports that about 87% of the offering was sold.
Coarse full fleece was up to 3% dearer and coarse shears were up to 1.5% stronger.
There was strong bidding in particular for combing oddments, which increased by 4% - 8%.
Main buying interest came from Australasia, China and Western Europe.
