The acting chief executive of the Crown Research Institute, Landcare, has been appointed permanently to the position.
Richard Gordon has been the acting chief of Landcare for the past three months, following the resignation of Dr Warren Parker, who is now chief executive of the forest crown research institute, Scion.
Dr Gordon has been with Landcare since 1995, working in a variety of senior science and management roles.
