Farmers can now buy their fuel through PGG Wrightson.
The rural services company has signed a deal with Southfuels for the bulk fuel supplier to distribute fuel in the South Island. A new joint venture, Northfuels, has been set up to provide the same service in the North Island.
Rural supplies general manager Grant Bunting says it expands the range of products that PGG Wrightson offers its 90,000 farmers, and makes it easier for them to pay, using their existing account.
Southfuels was established in 2006, taking over the South Island rural
supply business of Shell.
