The Hastings District Council launched a new marketing tool this week to help Hawke's Bay growers market their produce to New Zealand and the world.
The Great Things Grow Here campaign includes promotional videos which local companies can use in their marketing campaigns.
Hastings District Mayor Lawrence Yule said up until now, Hawke's Bay has had woeful promotional material for the region.
"We need to lift our game, so we've developed a product that is in chapters, so that other communities, other councils, other businesses can use it in future. It's really around selling ourselves. It's marketing collateral, really, that's what it is," he said.
"Businesses often when they go into a new opportuniy, they don't have anything that talks about the region, so these videos are something that's available for them to use as part of their sales pitch with their own products."
