Primary Wool has announced a record profit of $1,962,165 for the year ended 30th September.
It amounts to 71 cents per share which chairman Bay de Lautour says is the largest profit in the co-op's 39 years.
The profit came from Primary Wool Co-operative's 50 percent shareholding in Elders Primary Wool which Mr de Lautour says has continued to gain market share.
He says the co-operative gained two new members a week last year, and that's risen to about three a week so far this financial year.
