A roadshow for wool growers begins on Monday morning in Wellsford.
It's the first of 17 scheduled meetings that will take place across the country over the next 10 days.
They're being run by Wools of New Zealand for its investors and supporters.
Chairman Mark Shadbolt said farmers are going to hear about the latest steps the company's made towards securing a better future for their fibre.
He said the first step is providing an efficient route to market for growers with options attached, around areas such as spot pricing and longer term contracts.
Mr Shadbolt said the longer term strategy is adding value attached to its brand.
