Fonterra has announced record sales volumes for the three months to the end of July.
The company says a record 620,000 tonnes of dairy products was shipped to more than 100 countries - an increase of 36% on the same period last year.
Fonterra says it had to charter a special vessel to get its product to the Middle East.
It says demand is usually great in the lead-up to the Islamic festival of Ramadan, but it was especially big this year.
