The latest regional final in the national dairy awards has produced the first equity farm manager winners.
Paul and Debra Magner have won the West Coast Top of the South region's Sharemilker/Equity Farmer of the Year title.
They have been equity managers for the past eight years for Cranley Farms, a 574-hectare West Coast property milking more than 1400 cows.
The region's Farm Manager of the Year is James Deans, a contract milker from Dobson.
Dairy Trainee of the Year is Michael Shearer, an assitant on a Nelson farm.
All regional winners will compete for the national titles in Auckland in May.
