Results of a review of the public transport delays during the opening of the Rugby World Cup, will be made public early next week.
Delays of up to two hours on trains occurred on Friday night.
Veolia Transport says there were double the number of passengers it expected and there were problems with people pushing emergency stop buttons on carriages.
Auckland Mayor Len Brown has demanded a review.
Transport officials and Auckland Council chief executive Doug McKay held a de-briefing on Sunday morning and said the results of the review will be issued on Tuesday.
Mr McKay also said the council will decide on any improvements to transport, for the next game at Eden Park on Saturday, when Australia play Ireland in their pool match.
He stressed that they don't expect a crowd as big as the estimated 200,000 who gathered in downtown Auckland for the official opening.
Rugby World Cup 2011 chief executive Martin Snedden is playing down the problems as a first night hitch.
Mr Snedden says he's sure they will be fixed.
Meanwhile, things went without a hitch for Auckland's second match of the tournament on Saturday night at North Harbour stadium.
