Three people were injured in a house fire in the Christchurch suburb of Avonside on Sunday.
The blaze occurred at about 10am.
The fire service says the injured people suffered smoke inhalation and cuts to their hands and arms.
Fire investigators were at the scene on Sunday and a further scene examination will take place on Monday.
