A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Auckland.
Emergency services arrived just after 1.30am at Dominion and Lambeth Roads in Sandringham, where a car had struck the pedestrian.
The man was transferred to Auckland City Hospital with serious head injuries.
The police Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
