Police in Auckland are warning the public should not approach a man who has cut off his electronic tag and left his bail address in Gulf Harbour, near Whangaparaoa.

Ivan Carr, 34, is a patched member of the Rebels.
The police said he had an extensive criminal history involving violence.
They said he was considered dangerous and should not be approached.
