Thousands of dollars worth of cannabis was found during a drugs' bust in Auckland yesterday which resulted in eight arrests, police say.
The cannabis bust occurred over the Waitemata Police District, which encompasses west Auckland and the North Shore.
Police said a number of commercial growing operations were also discovered during the raids.
The eight people have been charged with various cultivation and supply charges and two have also been charged with theft of power.
The accused have all been jointly charged and the majority will appear in the North Shore District Court next Monday.
