One of Auckland's biggest real estate firms says property prices there may be levelling out.
Barfoot and Thompson says February figures showed house sales were high, but the average selling price fell by just under $10,000 dollars on the month before to about $750,000 dollars.
New listings were up nearly 50 percent on January, the highest number in the past 16 months.
Barfoot said the level of sales activity showed while there was still strong buyer interest, prices had eased slightly and for the time being, people felt property was fully priced.
