A German tourist thought to have been missing in Manapouri in Fiordland has turned up in Dunedin.
Police mounted a search for the woman, known only as Tina, when she went missing after booking to travel on a water taxi out of the area.
Tina contacted police yesterday after she saw a photo of herself on social media.
Police say she had left the Manapouri area before her scheduled water taxi arrived, and had since been travelling around the lower South Island.
