An elderly Chinese visitor who was missing in Auckland has been found collapsed on a doorstep by the home's owner.
Wang Dao, 74, had not been seen since leaving Bishop Street in Green Bay for his usual walk two days ago.
He was found dehydrated but otherwise well.
Police earlier asked people to check their sheds and garages for the missing man. He was fit and healthy but did not speak English and had no money or cellphone, they said.
A Search and Rescue team yesterday checked the two routes Mr Wang normally took and had also searched a number of public areas. A police helicopter was also involved in the search.
