Worksafe is investigating the death of a man who fell about 10 metres from a flying fox at a Northland fun park.

St John Ambulance said the man, who was in his 50s, fell from the equipment at AE Fun Park, south of Whangarei, just before 6pm last night.
The service's territory manager Mark Going said paramedics tried to resuscitate the man but he died at the scene.
Mr Going said it was not clear at that stage whether the man died because of the fall or had suffered a cardiac arrest or some other health event that then caused him to fall.
However, he said a fall from that height had the potential to cause fatal injuries.
Mr Going said the death would be referred to the coroner.
Worksafe said it had been notified and investigators were at the site today.
AE Fun Park would not comment on what might have caused the accident but said staff wanted to pass on their condolences to the man's family.
According to AE Fun Park's website, the flying fox is the third longest in New Zealand and riders on it can reach speeds of 80 kilometres an hour.
