A man and woman were flown to Nelson Hospital on Sunday morning after their rally car lost control and crashed during a race.
A spokesperson for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter says a 43-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman from Motueka were a driving on the road between Riwaka and Sandy Bay when they lost control of the car.
They suffered moderate neck and chest injuries and were taken to Nelson Hospital.
A hospital spokesperson says they have since been discharged.
Last weekend, Royce Kevin Watson, who was 54, from Christchurch died after a crash at a car rally in Hanmer Springs.
