Two men arrested after a police car chase in Waikato on Friday night have appeared in the Hamilton District Court.
Police say Alex Tereora and John Koteka were pursued after erratic driving near Cambridge but it was later discovered they were wanted for questioning over three aggravated robberies in Auckland in February.
The pair appeared in court on Monday and face numerous charges.
Mr Tereora is also charged with assaulting a police officer and intentionally injuring a police dog.
The 31-year-old will reappear in court in April.
Mr Koteka, 34, will reappear on Wednesday in Auckland.
