Finance Minister Bill English says there is no plan to review MPs' superannuation, as the Government prepares to cut its contributions to the KiwiSaver workplace savings scheme.
MPs can contribute up to 8% of a backbencher's salary of $131,000 ($10,500) towards their superannuation.
They then receive a taxpayer funded top-up of up to 20% of their salary, or just over $26,000.
Mr English says the scheme has been scaled back over the years and there are no plans to review it.
