Goff says increasing popularity will be a challenge

Labour leader Phil Goff says increasing his popularity as a leader in the face of the Prime Minister's success in the polls will be a challenge, but he expects his party's message will win over voters.

Mr Goff is adamant that he will remain the Labour leader up until the election.

He says National's plan to partially sell state assets to achieve economic growth will be very unpopular.

Howevr, Mr Goff says Labour's plan for economic growth will strike a chord with voters and he intends to sell that message.
